The Team

Play & Control handles the music playback on all of our platforms. We have apps for mobile and desktop, our own hardware player and partner integrations through our SDK. We are building an API for custom integrations which we already use ourselves to deliver a custom web radio station where the customer can control the music.

We manage the clients playing music and the servers providing them with instructions and remote control functionality.

The Role

We are searching for a skilled Embedded Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in expanding the reach of our music streaming services. You will be working together with the team to facilitate integrations with new partners. This involves:

Understanding the partner’s technical requirements and providing guidance on SDK integration best practices.

Adjusting our offering to improve integration flows and features.

Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including integration guides and sample code.

Working closely with internal teams to provide feedback and identify areas for improvement in our platforms.

Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in the audio technology space.



About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working with external partners. You should be a strong communicator, a creative problem-solver, and a team player.

Mandatory Requirements

Solid understanding of software development principles and experience with C++

Experience with embedded systems development

Experience with SDK integrations or API integrations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Beneficial Skills

Experience with audio technologies and streaming protocols such as Dante and AES67

Familiarity with various operating systems

Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols

Experience with programming languages such as C, Rust, Scala, Kotlin, Java, Objective C, Swift, Go, or others.
